
Steve Carter has been in the music business since graduating in 1980. Having lectured to degree students in popular contemporary music whilst also working as a session musician in London, he went on to make over 120 appearances as a jazz bass player at the 'Ronnie Scott's Club' in London, plus dozens of TV performances on disk and TV with pop and jazz artists, as well as many TV appearances with Lenny Henry, French & Saunders and Helen Lederer - and as the bass player for the 80's pop band 'Red Box'. Steve now composes production music which is written specifically for film & television drama & documentaries. He has a recording studio in the Highlands of Scotland and has more than 1000 published works available for use.
