Steve Carter has been in the music business since graduating in 1980.

Having lectured to degree students in popular contemporary music whilst also working as a session musician in London, he went on to make over 120 appearances as a jazz bass player at the 'Ronnie Scott's Club' in London, plus dozens of TV appearances on disk and TV with pop and jazz artists, as well as appearnces with Lenny Henry, French & Saunders and Helen Lederer - and as the bass player for the 80's pop band 'Red Box'.

Steve now composes production music which gets used in film & television drama & documentaries. He has a studio in the Highlands of Scotland where he also pursues his passion for landscape photography. If you would like to hear examples of Steve's music visit the music downloads page
