Steve Carter uses much of his time in the Highlands (via his photography) raising money for charities. If you've bought a CD Rom or postcards while in the Torridon area, you may be interested in the following:.

In 2001 Steve created a CD Rom illustrating the natural history of the Western Highlands which raised £3000 for the Torridon Mountain Rescue Team and W.W.F. Scotland. In 2002 the International Otter Survival Fund was the beneficiary - with a downloadable screen saver from this site. In 2004/5 Steve chose to create a CD Rom with screen saver of photos taken over several years throughout the Highlands and Islands. Proceeds went to the Shieldaig Primary School, and the Howard Doris Centre in Lochcarron.

In 2007 , Steve chose 50 of his favourite photos and made them into a screen saver for Windows - proceeds raised form this and from Steve's Online Gallery is redirected into www.Kiva.org Kiva invest in people in the third world, giving them a chance to build their own future.
